Photography Studio
As a quick introduction, Scott Hancock Photography has been serving the Utah community since 1979. Our friendly staff members include Sandy, our studio manager, Laurie my wife and myself. Sandy works the afternoons. Laurie is here in the mornings but is mostly behind the scenes doing a lot of artwork on your portraits. And I do a little of everything when needed, but mostly the photography.
Scott Hancock Photography is located in the historical Elijah Mayhew house built ca. 1855 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The restored house offers the perfect setting for your portrait needs with a large indoor studio that offers studio and natural lighting with several backdrop options. We also offer beautiful outdoor garden settings as well.
Scott Hancock has been professionally capturing wedding memories for over 2 decades. He offers the knowledge and experience required of a professional photographer and the ability to put everyone at ease on a day that can often be a little nerve racking.
Beauty Salon
If you’re not aware, we have an in-house SALON with an amazing staff of hairstylists. We also offer an onsite beauty salon for all your hair and makeup needs. Photographic makeovers are a specialty. We have provided services for our clients, professional models, actors and many beauty pageants.

To ensure your portrait success, we request a complimentary consultation with you. This will enable us to discover the possibilities that are available. In the consultation, we will discuss your desires, possible settings, clothing, etc... From weddings and senior portfolios to individual and family portraits, at Scott Hancock Photography we can handle all your professional photographic needs. Years of experience and craftsmanship go into every one of our portraits. Our wedding coverage starts at $450. We also have a variety of wedding packages which include the engagement and bridal sessions and a variety of custom portraits and choices in your wedding album presentation. Settled in the restored, nationally registered, historic Mayhew house, (built 1860 abt.) the studio has 100-year-old trees and a lush garden area and point of interest gazebo. Inside we have a full sized studio with several backgrounds to choose from, being able to accommodate up to 50 individuals in a group setting. A hair and beauty salon is available to accommodate your preparation needs for your portrait session
